Two Evaluate models
Section Model: This is an evaluate model created by Dr. Tony Bates which is very useful for my study. In science subjects, students always have more labs and tutorial than arts students. Therefore, an easy and simple usage of a multimedia is much more important than a fancy but complex one. Section model can evaluate not only the multimedia itself but also it can evaluate students and teachers. This model can let students and teachers know each other better than other situation.
SAMR Model: This evaluate model is more focus on technology of multimedia. Although some new technology have published for a while, not everyone can get familiar with these technologies. Therefore, focus on technology is not a good choice for me.
Benefits of SECTIONS
As I mentioned before, SECTIONS helps the connection of students and teachers. Which means SECTIONS can help teachers know how they will improve their teaching and what they should change during their classes.

Hi, Queenie.
Thank you for sharing your summary and the merits of this week’s topic.
I think that your point regarding the lack of users with electronic devices is true. However, in the long run, I believe that more people will possess devices as the economy and fundamental infrastructure will develop in developing countries. Some people may think it’s unequal for teachers to utilize the internet since some students cannot afford it. However, again, the digitalization of the world does not gonna stop because of the minority. In other words, I consider that not possessing an electronic device will be like not possessing a clock, which is a daily need, in the future. Hence, I believe SAMR is an ideal model for now.
Many other difference aspects should be included in the current model.

I agree with you, I also liked the sections model because it was easier to understand than the SAMR Model.

I agree with you that SECTIONS are much more useful in our study. It is much more easy for us to use and evaluate a multimedia. SAMR model is more complex than SECTIONS.
